Hey guys.

I am glad that everyones application is proccessing. But it just looks weird that within a month of time. They have did several months backlog applications. Makes me wonder what they have done in the whole 2013. Since they werent on stike since october....Imagine if his was the speed last year we would all be with our families. And i think the immigration reform to process the application didnt gave them 10x the resources. I think they just looked into it. And people actually started working on the apps. Either way its a welcome change.
But i still wish for them to be in the same situattion one day.

We saw in process on October 3rd, 2013, and they sent the interview invite on October 23rd, the interview was on Nov 19th, and new medical request on Nov 25th. Hope that helps.

If you don't mind could you tell me where are you from? and is there any special situation for you that took this long time?

My husband has Serbian citizenship, although he never lived in Serbia prior to 2011. And I am sponsoring both my husband and stepson, so two adults which means double everything.
Plus, I thinks we applied at the wrong time...the strike had a huge impact on us.

yes, we are still waiting and waiting...I was really hoping for some news by now and I am just soooo frustrated. We sent the docs in Jan 23rd, med was done on the 22nd. How long do they need to finalize these things?
Still a few of us left from 2012... Canucks fan, Newpal and me. Hope we will all get great news from Vienna very very soon.

I would suggest you order gcms notes for your application to get more details on the progress of your application.

You need 10 posts on this forum and then it will let you put your timeline in your profile. When did you submit your application? If it's early in the process you should wait with the GCMS notes. As for showing in process, it only means they looked at your application. Some people are showing in process for a couple of days and get their COPR, some for weeks or months, mine is showing in process more then a year and I am still waiting.. There is no sure way of telling what is happening. I never got an SA either, just an e-mail from Vienna that the application was received.
The processing time right now is 13 months +, but some get done faster and some longer.

So after i do chest x-ray and get new police certificate, what happens?? Whats the wait time? I am just about done, do these people know how much money we're spending, how much we hurt being away from our family?? Theyll never understand

I think that those are actually good news, be patient, this is the final stage. They are extending your medical and by sending it to London they want to speed it up for you.
Also, have you received a Medical form for X-ray? I assume when you take it to do the medical, just instruct the staff to send the results to London as per Visa Office's request, bring a copy of the email you received.
They are obviously working hard on your case, this was the last request to finalize the application.

Good luck, there is no reason for freaking out. You will get good news in no time.
