Police certificate sent: March 2021 (Visa office apparently didn't receive it even tho our Paralegal had proof it was sent)
Around November/December I contacted the MP since we didn't hear anything back for over a year due to the police certificate.
Police certificate requested again: December 22, 2022
Police certificate sent: December 28, 2022
Acknowledgement of Police cert received: January 11, 2023
Criminal Rehabilitation letters request: March 15th, 2023
Criminal Rehabilitation letters sent: March 17th, 2023
Acknowledgment of Criminal rehabilitation letters received: March 22, 2023
Payment for authorisation to return to canada + evidence the sponsor will have housing and savings to support the family request: April 25, 2023
payment + evidence for above sent: April 26, 2023

All verification steps passed: May 15th, 2023

We are now just awaiting final decision + PPR. The MP assistant said it should hopefully be very soon. On the first sponsorship we were declined due to inadmissibility on criminality. Now he is admissible, and everything has passed. We are 99.99% sure the PPR will arrive and we will be able to go back to Canada.

We got ppr like a week ago, and sent the passport on Tuesday. Thursday got an email that the passport was in Vienna and under process. Any idea how long it usually takes for them to send it back?

Yea. Usually take only 3 to 4 working days at the high commission In vienna the other days are postage duration, so depends on the situation with DHL, it could go a little above 1 week.

I'm now sponsoring my wife and kid. Got AOR, SA and medicals in February and file now in vienna. I'm hoping they process it fast from vienna

Yeah they did tell us that they were dealing with ukraine when we were still waiting on the passport request, so i guess thats still priority for them. Hopefully within 4 weeks tho, it states 4 weeks in the email we got so idk!

No update. File was transferred to vienna in February. Medical passed in February and that was the last update.
