Hi frds,
I am a CEC applicant in 2013. I have just got an email from CEC saying that my company has not responded to their call and the company website is fraudelent.

There are saying that I have misrepresented facts and am inadmissible for 2 years. I have left that company and am working for a different company now.
I dont know that their website was lifted from someother place.

They have given 60 days to respond and now I am dont know what to do. I called up these people but they are not responding.

Should I withdraw my application and submit in other category before any decision is made.

Please please respond......

You need to contact your company HR or whoever is the guy. Tell them they can receive call from CIC.
Respond to email by giving that number, did u submit copies of T4 slips and pay slips?
How big was that company ?

why would you want to withdraw your application if you feel that the facts you stated are correct? You have been give 60 days to prove that the documents you submitted are not fraudulent. So get letters from your previous employer, update the company website/phone numbers and submit again.

You shouldn't be worried if your documents state the truth..

This is more serious than withdrawing your application I'm afraid... They (CIC) think you are misrepresenting information, which makes you inadmissible. Any future application for PR/work permit/visa will be denied... :-X

It's too late to withdraw your application. You need to prove the company is real with 60 days or you are going to be issued with a 2 year ban.

Withdrawing your application may not be of much help. Instead i would suggest you contact your employers, if you couldnt respond to CIC with all the information you can

All the facts that you have provided seem to be due to the bad processes the company has. If you submitted the employment reference letter on company letter head, T4, and NOA you should be ok. Also, suggest you get the Business Number of the company and look up that on the List of Companies published by CRA. You are already in a soup and withdrawing your application will only add fuel to the fire. It will legitimize CIC's concern about your 'misrepresentation' and any future visa, permit issuance will not be allowed for 2 years. Onus is now on you to prove it to CIC, that you were legally employed and provide the updated website and contact number of an actual current employee of the firm.

Would it be possible to see the letter? Removing personally-identifiable info. What have you been accused of misrepresenting? That the company exists at all?

I agree with others here, that withdrawing your application would be seen as a tacit admission of guilt and that you should address the accusations directly. And consider getting legal advice.

Are you sure of not misrepresenting? If yes, why are you not forthcoming to explain the facts to CIC than think of another option to gain PR - via new job, spouse. You are already flagged in their system and any attempt to obtain residency via other means will not go undetected.
As others have suggested, tread carefully and respond within the timeframe given with enough clarification.

One quick genuine question. Did you give any misrepresentation?

If yes, then your application in future also would be monitored closely and now you can't extend your visa based on your spouse job. If not, then don't withdraw your application and provide all the details what CIC requested.

Yes, it will definitely be a problem as she will have to declare you as your spouse on her application. Your ban may also apply to her application or visa. I implore you not to withdraw your application and try your hardest to prove it to CIC that you were not misrepresenting facts.
