hey i’m in same situation now. Got my visa approved for september but as it was delayed i can’t enter in to september intake. So can i get new admission from other college and get in to jan intake with same visa? please guide me

Hi guys,

Can give me your opinions. I applied last September 11 together with my wife. The next day September 12th she received a medical call. After a few days September 14, the VO inatructed us to obtain a police clearance and NBI clearance. What are the chances Of getting a study permit visa with kind of scenario?

Currently, I’m living here in Japan while my wife stays in the Philippines. I was a student visa before here in Japan. After a few months we decided that We will be transferring to Canada via student visa. I am the principal and she will be under my spouse visa.

Is there any chances that we will acquire a visa after we will obtain this requirements?

Please help me. I’m worried.

Thank you

hello guys,
I have done my bachelors in engineering (Mechanical) with 7.87 CGPA and diploma in similar stream with 8.97 CGPA. Completed 10th with 77%. I have filled MASc-Oil and Gas in memorial university.

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to apply for student visa in May 2019 intake. I am planning to enroll in Web Development Pg course run by Lambton college mississauga campus.

Actually I was planning to get PR through EE system but I am at 351 CRS which is low. Even I have created EE profile in Feb 2018.My IELTS was 7,6,6,7 overall 6.5 (General IELTS). I was desperately waiting to open PNP like NSNP or SINP but they have removed IT occupations and that is the reason why I am planning to apply for student visa.

Below are my some details.
Age: 32
Education : Diploma (EC) + BSc (IT).
Experience : 6 years as a Web Developer.
Marital Status: Married.

I will try to achieve as maximum as possible in IELTS (Academic).

Note : I tried twice for student visa in Jan 2012 and May 2012 but got refusal. That time I got Overall 6 bands in IELTS (Academic). In addition, I've completed my bachelor through distance learning.

Can someone expert tell me what are my chances to get student visa? What problems will I face?

Any help is appreciated and thanks a lot in advance.

Hello Guys,

I seriously need your advice and suggestions.

Since I have very few points for CRS around 350, would like to go for a Student Visa and layer apply for PR.

So here is my confusion. I have revived a LOA from a college for 2 Years Diploma, January Inatake and have applied for a Student Permit on Sep 16. 2018

Now few of my friends are saying why to waste time and go for 1 Year Diploma. Now let suppose if I get 2 Years Student Visa, is it possible to change my course to 1 Year after landing in Canada. What happens in that case, will the Immigration reduces my Visa Validity? Or is it going to be the same for 2 Years ?

On the other hand, if I am going to opt for 1 Year Program, I guess they only give 1 Year Work Permit after work. So when I want to apply for PR after 1 Year Course + 1 Year Work Experience, I won't having my Visa Validity to stay inside Canada. What is the solution here, will they extend my Visa for one more year or do I need to get out of Canada ? Or can I go for a short course to stay in Canada?

Please let me know your suggestions/advices so accordingly i can apply for some other colleges for 1 Year Diploma.

Guys, your revert is highly appreciated.

God Bless !

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,
Jahnavi

You cannot switch to 1 year program after getting 2 yr visa

But for 1 year study +1 yr work experience you can go for another course and get study visa apply for EE if study visa expires you can apply for temporary residence visa till no decision given on ur pr application

Hello! I am thinking of pursuing a student visa instead of a PNP. I am just quite reluctant with the living expenses. I plan to bring along my 2 elementary school children and my husband. Ny husband can go for a work permit while I study and do part-time work. Will our potential monthly income in Canada be able to support a family of 4 while I am studying at a university too? Does anyone have an idea?
