Hi, guys. I finished test on April15 2015. And passed the test, it shows i will receive letter to attend oath ceremony in 2 month. But until now, 8 months passed. I still not receive any news and eCas status still shows in process.

Would you please help me, do you know any email address I van send to ask about it, i called CIC toll free number but the answer was: "what i can see is the same status as you, nothing else". I have no idea what can i do at present.

Thank you guys in advance.

What does your online status show?

Hi Loveson, 8 months seems long... Have you received request to submit additional documentation, fingerprints ...etc?

Congrats did u get it by mail or email ?

Thanks! My apologies for the delay in responding - the notification came in the mail. No email or eCas updates at all. The oath ceremony itself lasted approximately one hour and 30 minutes from start to finish. The majority of the time was taken up having all the applicants' documents checked before entering the room for the actual ceremony. This part took about 35 minutes - it was thrilling for sure!

Best of luck to you and all in the process.

I just had my ecas updated to Decision made. Does that mean I will get an Oath invite soon or what is the average time from now on?

Some people had their ecas updated to Decision Made in September and still haven't received the oath letter.
I don't know which date(Application Date, Test Date, Decision Made date..) is crucial but it seems like people who had their tests in late August are getting their oath letters for January.
YorkshireMan had his test on August 12 and took the oath on December 22.
ahm2299 had his test on August 27 and scheduled to take the oath on Jan 12.

Don't forget that applications are case by case so some may take slightly longer than others. From what I have heard, it's usually the residency calculator part which is the hold up - if this is inaccurate it does delay the application, if only by a few days / weeks.

Hey,

I would prefer to call them, sometime they forget to update test result on file which cause delay, It happend with one of our friend here, it was 8 month and when he called CIC they checked and they said that officer forgot to update test result and they will send a reminder and next day it changed to decision made.

if one agent is not helping call again and talk to other agent and explain them, someone will definitely helps you.

I checked your previous post. You wrote that you let the office know you would be out of town between Dec 15 to Jan 5. May be that is the reason for the delay.

There is another guy in May list.
aburana:
Test date: August 5
Decision Made: August 31
Oath date: December 21

Finally after test Aug 10 2015 I got oath letter today for Jan 20. Vancouver office ;D
