Vancouver Oath Timeline after Test/Interview

Is there an event scheduled for 8th August?

As far as I can see on Seawheeze website, the road closure is for 15th August. That could be the reason for oath reschedule however what about 8th August?

Mine was at 10am too. Maybe the staff rebelled at having to come in early on a Saturday!

Hopefully I'll get scheduled a different date; I had to cancel a family vacation to Mt Baker on the 8th, then just uncanceled it after I got the notification that there was no ceremony, so if it's just a time change I'm going to have to recancel it...

I can't see any major events going on August 8th. My guess is they've just started doing Saturday ceremonies and they're still just working out the kinks.

Family Applications sent Dec 12,2014
Test was April 22
Oath letter by Mail to day for Aug. 14
No update in Ecas lines after transfer line disappeared.
Decision made for my wife and i was 2 week ago.
My daughter's Ecas is still in process.

hopefully all of you get the oath letter soon.

I hope your daughter has also received the oath invite along with yourself and your wife even though her online e-cas status still says "In Process" (e-cas is not that reliable, sometimes it updates and sometimes it does not)

Mine was at 10.am , Hopefully its just a time change to 1.30pm on Aug 8th.

I sincerely hope that all who got cancelled get the new dates soon!

BTW I don't see CIC website list Aug 14 as an oath date. Maybe they forgot to list this day on their website?

Test was at 1pm.
I did not see and no idea why there is no time in their web site, they have ceremony at Aug. 15 instead that has been canceled. should wait for their update.
Pretty sure your letters are in the way.

My parents online status changed to Decision made on July 17. 2015. They are over test age and had interview on May 25th, 2015

Hey thecoolguysam, I was actually surprised to see that there is nothing in the invite about friends/family...or at least not that I have seen. The online listing for this morning's oath says it is open to the public but I have no idea how many people they allow each person to bring in. I'll try and report back after my ceremony

I attended a friend's ceremony as a guest in Feb. I just told the lady at the door I'm a guest. She pointed me to the guest area, did not check my ID or ask whose guest I was.
