Vancouver Oath Timeline after Test/Interview

I saw a post, a Chinese took the test on May 27th, and yesterday he/she got the oath invitation on July 7th.

It'd be great to see this person's entire timeline. One of my friend waited for 11 month to take his test. He got oath invite only 3 weeks after passing the test, even though he had to send in stamp translation after the test.

Thanks for the great work! A little trick to make your life easier:

In a spreadsheet, we can write the dates in format such as, 4/22/2015 and 6/24/2015. Let's say these two dates are in cell A1 and B1. If you would like to calculate their difference in cell C1, write this:

=$B1-$A1

Note $ is important. Suppose your column A is all the starting dates, column B is all the end dates. Then you type in all the dates you need, and copy the formula above to all other cells in column C, they should be automatically be C2=$B2-$A2, etc. Look at the December spreadsheet you will know what I mean.

To take this a step further, you can use the function TODAY() in order to automatically update you "Days from Test until" column. So it would be something like =TODAY() - $C21. That way you wont need to manually update the sheet everyday! Thanks for putting this together Sam!

I saw the post in another forum. I asked his/her timelines. He/She said the application received by cic on Aug. 2014, Test on May 27th, oath on July 7th.
My timelines: received by cic on Sep. 17th 2014, Test On April 2nd 2015, oath is waiting.......

thank you for updating me, actually I don't exactly know my timeline, i just remember the test date. and they told me i will receive letter to attend oath ceremony within 2 months, but still no news.

What amazes me is that with at least 5 ceremonies on July 1st in the Vancouver area (Not counting Victoria, Kamloops & Kelowna) & with an average of 75 applicants per ceremony we just have 1 person represented on the forum getting his/her citizenship on that day!
1 (or maybe 2,3 in case we missed out somebody who posted earlier) in 375.....

Just shows how minuscule we are represented on this forum as compared to the actual number of applicants (to get any true picture of what's going on).
Sam wanna do the math on this.....

Totally agree. The people in this forum are just a fraction of total number of applicants in actual however, at least we have some information in the spreadsheet that we can utilize to calculate/estimate our oath schedule. I know that not everyone joins the forum however at least we have some idea by calculating the timelines of the few number of members in this forum.
I hope you will get the oath invite in couple of days or mostly early next week. (My guess is this because a person "tikitaka" who took his/her test/interview on 13th April and got his/her oath scheduled on 7th July.
