  • Application sent: March, 2019
  • Application received: April 12, 2019
  • Processing started: August 19, 2019
  • April 2020 test canceled
  • Online Test invite email letter: April 1, 2021
  • Test date: April 5-25, 2021
  • Test taken: April 25, 2021
  • Score: 20/20
  • Decision Made: TBA
  • Oath Invite: TBA

Hi everyone, I received my test invite today!
below is my updated timeline:


Application sent: Sept 23, 2019
Received: Sept 26, 2019
AOR: December 12, 2019
In process: January 20, 2020
Test invite received: April 28, 2021
Test window: April 30 - May 21, 2021

Hey everyone. Jan 2020 Applicant here. Still no test invite or anything. Is this normal? How do you all cope with this wait that causes unnecessary stress and anxiety to a bunch of us. I am kind of starting to lose hope here....

I feel ya, I've been there... :confused: I would suggest to call CIC and tell them that you are going to visit their office in person to personally talk to the officers. I said this to them and they put me on hold while they called Vancouver office and told them about my plans. I also sent Vancouver office a physical letter explaining my situation and how incompetent they are in Vancouver office.

I have no idea if that helped but I got a test invite about a month after that...

Great news, I just got my oath invation for 05/21 group, around 2 month after DM.

My time line:
Vancouver Office
Application received: April 25, 2019
Test Date: Jan,26, 2021
FP Request: Feb 11th, 2021
Decision Made: March 22, 2021
Oath invatation: May 6,2021
Oath date: May 21,2021

!! There is a new system to check your status !!

Guys, I think everyone should register with the new system to track their status, you can register at https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register

You need your UCI and Application number in order to register.

It didn't really help me as my new status is the following:

Language skills: In progress
Physical presence: In progress
Citizenship test: Completed
Background verification: Completed
Prohibitions: In progress
Citizenship ceremony: Not started

This just again shows how slow CIC is... but maybe it'll help you. I'm November 2019 applicant and I still have 4 sections in progress... What a joke CIC and Vancouver office is :mad:

I am july 2019 applicant and have the same exact update as yours. Vancouver office is somehow the worst among others

My wife has the exact same status. She emailed IRCC Vancouver today to inquire when her oath ceremony might be scheduled. I'll post an update when she get's a reply. She used this email address that I found in the forum: CIC-Vancouveritinerant@cic.gc.ca. I'm not sure if it's current. We will see.
