In Process now 64 days and My oldest daughter is pregnant with my first Grandchild in Canada..We have been in hold for 16 months now...and Charissey...We know that CIC has our up frount MEDs , the second set and three request is under investigation and not once has the CIC site said anything about the MEDS....

My ecas just switched to in process on August 21. Today I logged in and it now says they started processing my application on April 8. :o Based on my notes, my app was still in FCP inventory as late as mid-June. I thought in processing for Ottawa meant they were looking it over for a decision. Now I'm not so sure. I got SA at the end of March and April 8 is when my app was received on Ottawa. I'm feeling a but discouraged now. I really thought my app was moving.

Are you the sponsor or the applicant?

Help!!!!I just saw an update today on my husband's application...this is what it looks like...

Permanent Residence
We received Marcus___________ application for permanent residence on April 7, 2015.
We started processing Marcus ______________'s application on May 20, 2015.

Isn't is supposed to day medical results received first before the we started processing...?

I saw some others on another thread who didn't have medical results received either. I got line 2 this morning too. Says they started processing our application on Aug 4. The first line says they received it May 29. I received no AOR 2 but apparently that's normal from Ottawa. Nothing at all about medical results even though my husbands done and sent in with application.

You really shouldn't worry about it. Ecas updates are not all perfectly in-line all the time. You are IP and that's great, if they need anything or have any problems they will send you a request.

Mine has never said anything about medical results either. I only have two lines: 1. Your application was received January 30, 2015 and 2. We started processing your application April 8, 2015. :p I do know from the notes that I passed the medicals, however, they had not yet reviewed the medicals of my 2 non-accompanying dependants.

Oh my! Thanks very much guys... I was freaking out cause I saw other people’s applications stating Medical results received first and then application processing. I am glad I am not alone in this. I did his medical results upfront and they asked for additional stuff which he passed, ao I was wondering why they didn’t put medical results received. I AM PRAYING REALLY HARD EVERYONE HERE WILL GET A FAVOURABLE RESPONSE!!! ;D ;D ;D

I've been following your posts.
Have you thought of going to the media with your story?

..

Case notes are coming on 05Sept2015....i want to see them first and then its an email to the Minister...if I do not get any action then its the Media...like I have said from the beginning I have no problem jumping through the hoops but ya gotta give us the hoops to jump through..and I am so so grateful the CIC Dr is working with us to figure out what CIC wants..One thing that drives me crazy is every piece of advise on here has turned out opposite for us...I kind of feel like CIC are trying to find something wrong and they can't ...example is the third request for MEDS and then there is nothing in the EMedical for the doctor to preform....we can't submit a request for nothing...lol..nothing become something cause they can deny for not anything submitting within the time frame they outlined!...this process has nothing to do with family...

Sunset, Do you know why your application went to LA, isn't that unusual for applications that should have no issues? Do they randomly take some and send them to LA just for kicks? NOT GOOD and NOT FUNNY! If they do. I hope you get everything figured out soon and that this time will soon be behind you. I think I saw that your spouse applied at some point for a TRP why would someone originating from the USA need a TRP I am confused since it seems from everything I have read here that US citizens/passport holders do not need a visa why would they need a permit? Is it so he could work in Canada if so I thought that was a Temporary Work Permit are they sometimes one in the same permit?

This is a really informative forum. I wish I had found it back when we were submitting our application.

My wife and I submitted our app in late february, received SA in late april, a document request for my proof of residence and to pay RPRF on August 21 and change to "In Process" on Aug 25. Hopefully we'll get some good news in the next few weeks.

Where does one find the spreadsheet that I see a lot of people referring to, for timelines? I wouldn't mind taking a look for curiosity's sake and adding another data point as things move forward for us.

Check out my signature for the 2015 version, I think there is also an Ottawa spreadsheet somewhere, not sure if there is a US only spreadsheet.

I received an email from CIC on July 30th about additional documents request and to pay the RPRF. In that email it says "for fastest service, please attach the PDF of the receipt to an email and send to this email address". When I paid the fee I got an email with the PDF attached to it and at the bottom of that email it say "your case processing centre (Ottawa) will only accept a printout of the official receipt as proof of payment." I emailed the PDF of the receipt to the email that was given (in the July 30th document requests email) on August 4th and I haven't heard anything or seen any changes online. Should I send a printout of the receipt as well? I am so confused

He was inadmissible but did the rehab and was issued a TRP that was issued for three years...more then enough time has passed and he was and has been deemed rehab'd....why the case went to LA I have no idea as we live on the east coast...at the time we were told that all cases were going to LA and New York did not even appear in the processing cue....we have also been told the case was in Ottawa in March 2015... We are getting the med request from Ottawa we put another TRP application into New York because we wanted to extend the TRP as per the letter we rec'd three years ago but that can't be done any more and LA request a whole other TRP application even with a valid TRP..LA said they would request it from New York...thanks goodness we have the FBI background check in that application because the ones sent with the application are no longer valid...and. TRP is different then a visa...and if you have a TRP you can not get a work permit unti you are in Canada ...we were advised you could get one and read you could but you can't...he was denied three time for three different reasons and nothing changed in our situation...we have read so many horror stories about people having kids and then the non Canadian being denied after living in Canada for up to 8 years ..we are not taking a chance even with the TRP until we have the approval in hand...

Sunset, That is so much to go through. I am so sorry that you are dealing with so many thing. Does NY even do Applications at all anymore, I heard over a year ago that they don't but I really don't know for sure about anything. I am glad too that you have a new FBI certificate so you don't have to wait all those extra weeks too.

Our process is not as complicated as yours but we sent in our inland App May 16, 2014 got AOP August 13, 2014 but the entire app was sent back to us stating that things were missing on Sept 30, 2014. Everything was in the app or we would not have gotten AOP and the forms they said were missing were clearly in the packet they returned. They wasted 4+ months of our lives too, and for no Reason! The one good thing for us is that we then went with outland, I am so glad, and now I have DM and am just waiting on the Letter so I can flagpole and really start my life here in Canada.

Hang on tight your time is coming!!
