I'd like to know the answer to this, too! Good question.

Does anyone know the answer?

If you have the sponsors UCI # you should also have the File #... the File # is for both SPR and PA. So use the File # as well.

They do not send AORs with Outland applications anymore. When they do, it arrives with SA, so you'd have to check the current wait times for SA.

I'm confused by this answer. I received AOR on our Outland application and according to the 2015 spreadsheet, it seems lately a lot of people are getting AORs from Mississauga in about three weeks time. SA on the other hand? Day 53 and still waiting here.

Yea I attached the most recent FBI clearance using my Sponsor's UCI when sending it via fedex to Ottawa pretty sure it got lost..... lol oops guess ill have to order new ones or hope the original ones would suffice.....

It can take 3+ weeks for them to attach snail mail to an application. When did you send it?

And one more random question in here since it's the US thread.

If I'm understanding the guide correctly, I DO NOT need to get the immigration photos taken by a photographer so long as they meet standards? I know that Passport photos have to be marked with photographer, etc but I don't see any such requirements in the appendix showing that has to be done.

It was a real pain in the rear to find someone who had the software to size the photos correctly for my son's citizenship photos and they have since closed down. :/

How do you know it got lost? Did you get the delivery confirmation from FedEx? I also sent an email to CIC right before sending letting them know to expect it and I also scanned a copy of the police clearance and sent it with the email. I sent it April 1 and according to the notes, it was attached to my file April 10.

It arrived but I'm worried since I put the UCI number when my partner received SA they won't be able to match it, I stupidly forget to put the application number :-\ but I ordered notes last week, so I guess I'll wait to c if it got attached.

While visiting my husband in Canada I had them done at Black's photography. It was like 10 or 11 dollars and about 20 minutes.

How many did you get? :o I got 8 because I thought I'd need an additional 4 for my medical and they charged me $80! I nearly died!

I'm nowhere near a border and we have no plans to head to Canada anytime soon.

I double checked the appendix on the country specific questions twice and it didn't say anything about the photographer there so I'm hoping it's ok.

Hello all,

I am a January 2015 applicant. This week my wife found our status changed to decision made and from what I understand this means they will send mail to my wife in the US. What can she expect to see in the mail? Will it be interview requests, approval, denial, etc.? We haven't been contacted at all through e-mails, we just found out about the decision made through checking status. We weren't expecting anything for at least another couple of months!

Thanks,

JC

I called the CIC call centre and they were able to confirm for me that the papers I sent in MAy 7th were attached May 27th. You could try and see if they will confirm it for you.

Its most likely a good thing since they would have contacted you if they needed further information or an interview. It seems like they are now working on 2015 applications. Congrats, this is a great victory for you and your wife. Many 2014 applicants are still waiting.

I got two copies of my COPR (that you need to take to the border when you land) along with a letter that has instructions on what to do. One copy of the COPR had one of the photos that I had sent in with my application attached. Hope this helps!
