there seems to be sporadic movement for june, july and aug applicants. not very much movement though. still seems to be in a sleeper hold.

Our application is going in today! :D

I've added myself to the Ottawa spreadsheet and will also add to the March Outland.

What is a review date?

Got a bit of an update a few days ago and that my background and elegibility chacks were completed and that my medical had been extended for a year. I was also informed that 3/26 (yesterday) was my review date. Does that mean the end is near?? Any insight?

OMGGGGGGG.... AFTER 7 MONTHS I FINALLY GOT MY PR CARD!!!!! TOTAL SURPRISE.

PS... i got my pictures done at AAA (free for members) and was never asked for new ones. not sure if it was luck or if the immigration officer cut it down to size or what. all i know is that passport pictures from AAA worked for me!

Congrats, rhcohen!!!

I landed as a PR in August. You don't get your PR CARD immediately upon landing. You land with your COPR document. The PR card is applied for AT landing and is suppose to take 1-2 months to get. Mine was mailed to me and never delivered, so I had to ask CIC for a new one. It looks like they found the missing card and remailed it to me, or that is what i'm assuming happened.

Thank you! Congrats on this moment! Were you able to apply for SIN card? I am assuming you can not apply for employment in Canada until you have this?

i was able to get a SIN, OHIP and anything else with just my COPR and passport. I haven't actually needed a pr card for anything. i've been working since october. the only thing employers require is a sin#.

Congrats RH on the great news! Awesome 8)
