I have US higher education and H1B visa. I am an Indian citizen and have an employer interested in hiring me in Toronto region. I am trying to understand how can this be accomplished. The company HR mentioned that LMO path will take 4 month (nor acceptable to hiring manager) so I should take open work permit and come to Canada. According to immigration website info, I am not in the categories eligible for open work permit as i'm neither spouse nor have a Canadian degree. What are the options pursuing this job opportunity from my end and from employer end. Employer are not interested in PNP option.

Thanks,
Yamahuh

The company offering you the job should apply for a LMO after making the necessary recruitment efforts (job bank ad for at least 14 days), i.e. if they didn't find a Canadian Citizen or PR who applied/qualified for the position.
