Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
So I've been waiting for EE to better my chances of acceptance....

I hope I can get some clarification from what I've been reading...

1. I need to create my profile, starting at 12 noon on Jan 1.
2. I will need my IELTS score and ECA in order to create my profile.
3. Once my profile is created, I need to register for the job bank.
4. Wait.
5. If I am chosen, then I am invited to apply...I must submit everything else within 60 days? (Criminal background check, settlement funds, work references, health certificates, etc -- what else?)
6. More waiting (up to 6 months)

Is there anything else I am missing?

Thank you.

My friend, you are completely wrong, if you are a US Citizen, you need to do nothing, under nafta you can travel to Canada and work professionally. Are you aware oh that?

look here:

hope this helps

Maybe he wants to permanently settle in Canada, as opposed to temporarily work here?

And not everyone in USA works in NAFTA-eligible trades.

Very good points, I may have rushed my response and I appreciate your inputs... but in the case of qualifying under NAFTA-trade-agreement, he/she can use this to start working in Canada and the to proceed with the PR process, correct?

I will check out the link....thank you, omaus25! :D

Yes I am looking to permanently settle. Canadian boyfriend but trying to not rush marriage.

I am a she, not he, but thank you!

Express entry is just a kind of pre-screening. I think the euphemism is "application management system." To be invited to apply, you would still need to meet the requirements of one of the economic immigration programs (FSW, CEC, FST, PNP). I don't have enough info from your post to understand whether you're currently living and working in Canada, or plan to apply from outside based on (skilled work experience?). Do you know your NOC?

But you can see the programs here:

I am not living or working in Canada. I am applying from outside based on skilled work experience. My NOC is 1113.
