Not really, the checklist only asks for passport with all Visa/travel stamp pages.

ok buddy, do one think /./ call up your bank , you don have to go... most of banks can do this over call
Yeah but the problem is my H1B already expired and I am on EAD (Green card processing). So how would they know that I am here legally
They insisted on me to go to a banks physical location. They specifically said they will not do this over a phone
Does anyone know how or where to ask cic to provide extension for submitting passports for stamping?
After ready for visa email they are asking to send passports within 30 days but we have a planned trip to home country so need extension.

They just use the passport visas/travel stamps to determine/verify your travel history. There is no checklist item asking for proof of legal status.

It should say somewhere at the top of your PPR email something like "if you can't meet this deadline please email us immediately at [visa office email here]". Email them and explain your situation.

Finally got PPR after 8 long months. 
After my experience, I would really recommend ordering GCMS notes if several months have passed and you haven't seen any updates on your application. After getting my notes I saw that my application had been flagged for review because my employment history was "broken up," showing 4 years of eleven months of work (I'm a teacher.) I sent a CSE explaining how the school year and teacher contracts work, and we got the PPR email shortly after I received the email acknowledging the CSE.

@Nqur, I'm taking along my transcripts, degrees and other professional documents just in case. Have you figured out housing? I'm going with airbnb for the first few weeks, since most properties I've reached out to need an employment letter.
