Hi all.. I have just noticed that WARSAW processing time changed from 8 to 9 months. Does it refer to the new applicants only or the once who applied several months ago?

Thank u in advance

It just means that you won't be able to get your MP involved until the 9 months are up.

Since 9 months is what's posted, that's they will go by. It doesn't mean that your application will take 9 months. It's about past applications.

I am in panic :(

Why? It's a one month difference, for 80% of the applications processed in the past.

One month will go by just like that, you won't even notice. Besides, its average duration. There is no guarantee that you will get your PR exactly on the day 9 months are done. It could be before or after.

Did you know that some countries have much longer processing times? India is 15 months. Pakistan is 30 months I think. But, many get their PRs earlier. So, don't panic, just relax and hang in there like rest of us.

It doesn't mean that at all. There is no rule stating that the MP offices can't contact CIC before the posted time has passed. Though it's true that some offices won't send an inquiry before that point, many are happy to do so at any point during the process.

Could be worse! Australia went from 11 to 14. Makes no sense.

A lot of MPs say they won't do anything until the posted time has passed, although it's true that some can and do get involved before that. Regardless, it's 1 month, talking about applications that were completed in a certain time period.
We just need to wait like everybody else.
