URGENT PLEASE HELP ! - FORM IMM0008

Hi all, I am in the process of filling in the initial set of forms for Federal skilled worker application that go to Sydney, ca - the form IMM0008 for permanent residence in Canada asks for my daughters passport number. I have only just applied for her 1st passport (she is only 1) and it will now take 3 weeks to come back...

I feel I urgently need to get my application sent in case my noc is removed from the new list due out soon! Please can anyone tell me if I would be ok to send the form without her passport number on in order to get it in and date stamped? Will it be rejected if I leave off or cause delays if I need to add the number later? So unsure what to do for the best, chewing my mails off thinking about it -any advice much appreciated!

You have a valid reason for the missing PP number. Along with the docs send in a cover letter explaining your situation as to why is that column left blank and notifying that you will update the CIC as soon as her passport arrives.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks, I think I may do this and get it in rather than wait as may miss out altogether.

Just a worry in case they reject the application because of the missing pp info...

Anyone ever heard or experienced the initial application being rejected because of missing info?

In case of mine they sent me a letter to resubmit the incomplete file.. 2007 when i sent all my documents and they started to process me Sept 2009..Up to now im still In Process Status for 7 months.Dec 2009 my medical was done and im still waiting for them to request my pasport for visa stamp..thats too long for wating..others got their visa after a month of their medical.. I dont have any problem in my medical though..

Hi MMme, thanks for the info. When you say you were asked to resubmit the incomplete file did you have to start the application process completely or did they keep your initial application open and then allowed you to submit the missing info to the original? thanks, jules
