Hey guys
I just want to make sure i started work as setup machinist noc 7231 from July 14 to october 2013 through employmeny agency and after that my company hired me.. Now m going to apply on august 5 .. Is it ok or shud i still wait for more days..

Do you fulfill this basic requirement:

Work experience

To apply for permanent resident status through the CEC, you need at least one year of full-time experience (or the equivalent in part-time work) as a skilled worker in Canada. Full-time work means at least 30 hours per week, and you need to have worked at least 1,560 hours in a year. The one-year of work experience must have been obtained within the three years preceding the date your CEC application is received.


IS your NOC code Type 0, A or B ?

Look up the CIC cec requirements.

Hello,
I am just curious about your job, is belonging to NOC 7231. But I thought The Type 0, A, B did not include any job type that belong on top of 4?
please correct me If I wrong here.

^ Not sure what "belong on top of 4" means, but NOC 7231 is definitely skill level B, and it is not one of the six excluded occupations.

You can easily check the skill level and type of any NOC code here: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/html/matrix.html (look for the first three digits)

You meant July 14, 2013 to October ??, 2013 through agency then October ??, 2013 to till date directly in company. If your jobs and responsibilities were same then you have following two ways to apply.

1) if your employer gives a letter state that you are working for them from July 2013 to till date with noc 7231 responsibilities then yes you can apply.
2) or if your employer gives a letter to you that you are working from July 14, 2013 to October ??, 2013 through "XYZ agency" then October ?? under 7231 NOC and following that from [date] to till date working as their employee under 7321 noc.
3) if your Agency gives you letter that you worked for them for assignment at "your company name" from [start date] to [end date] and your company confirms that then you can apply.

BOTTOM LINE IS: To apply under CEC and fulfil work requirement, you need to prove that you worked under noc 7231 from July 2013 to till date.

however, you also need to fulfil the other requirement of CEC.

Yes i already got letter from employment agency for three months experience.
The employment agency gave me letter like this. Please let me know is this ok.

This letter is written as a reference for Mr.xxx who worked with employment agency name(xxx) from July 14 2013 to October 18,2013 at our client (xxx)company name as a Setup Machinist where he was hired on full time, his pay rate was xxx based on 40 hours work per week. His Duties as per the position mandate by client included but not limited to setting up CNC, Punch Press and milling machines, Read and interpret work orders and verify machined parts for accurate dimensions by using precision measuring instruments including Vernier caliper etc.

We have observed Mr.xxxx to be very conscientious and caring, he is very reliable, punctual and conducts himself in a professional manner. Mr.xxxx brought a very high level of responsibility, dedication and work ethic to the job

Mr. Xxx valued skill was benefit to our firm and our clients. I can without hesitation recommend Mr xxxx. If any further information is required, Please contact me.

And on october 18 my company hired me..my company also gonna write down on letter i worked with them through agency from july 14 to october 18 and then they hired mr... Is it ok if m gonna apply on aug 5, 2014.. Plz advice

I believe letter format is good enough. However, make sure your jobs and responsibilities match with identified NOC. Having said that do not copy responsibilities from the NOC list either.

And on october 18 my company hired me..my company also gonna write down on letter i worked with them through agency from july 14 to october 18 and then they hired mr... Is it ok if m gonna apply on aug 5, 2014..If you want straight forward answer yes or no. I can't give you but based on the given dates you are eligible to apply after July 13, 2014 provided that you were not unemployed in that period and also worked at least 30hr/week. Any of the week worked less than 30hr will not be countable. Hope this would help you. Plz advice
