Hello All, Please guide me if you have some idea. I have been working in Quebec in TEER 2 job as per NOC 2021 on Open work Permit. I have also applied under CEC category (Express Entry) in IRCC, but haven't received an invite yet. If i wish to proceed with Closed Work permit in Quebec with the employer, and in the case If i recieve an ITA under CEC category, shall my application for PR be approved? Since EE entry has a criteria that you need to move out of Quebec once an invitation is issued. Can i state the argument, that since being on closed permit in quebec, I will move outside of Quebec, as soon as im granted for Permanent Residency ? Please guide. Thank you.

Hello, What i mean to say is, If im on Closed Work Permit in Quebec and If i receive an ITA from Federal , shall my application be approved, since my close work permit is from Quebec and For express entry we need to move out of QUEBEC.
Yes, you will be good if you can prove and show your intention to leave Quebec when you become a PR.
I think people move out of Quebec when they receive the invitation of EE, it is because this is the safest and easiest way to prove to IRCC that I already moved outside of Quebec.
For you, because you hold a closed work permit, it is impossible for you to move as soon as possible. So, you have to prove to IRCC that you are trying your best to find a way to move to the other province. For example, you can apply for some jobs outside Quebec and have interviews with them and save those records. Write an explanation letter to IRCC that once you get your PR you will move outside Québec.

In my case, my company also has a branch in toronto as well. So can i have a close work permit in quebec and i will inform ircc that once granted pr, i will move to toronto branch. Is that been usually accepted. What do you think?
