Upfront medicals

Hi, I hope someone can help me with some answers on few of my queries.
I applied for the PR about an year and half ago, and have no updates since a year which was when my biometrics were updated in the application. My medicals have been expired a year ago.
Right now I am in Canada on visitor visa so i was wandering if i can get upfront medicals here. My concerns are:
a) if I can get my medicals done without any request letter?
b) if I can have my medicals done somewhere else than my home country?

Hello,

Yeah you can get your medicals done here in Toronto, for an upfront medical you need a primary ID, your passport. You can check the panel physicians close to you and you will be asked to include your UCI when booking an appointment etc. so it can be linked to your App.

I too am in Canada on a visitor Visa.

What is your AOR and Visa office? You can also try and request for GCMS notes to know the status of your application, get it from CBSA, GetGCMS does it.
