Hello,

Outland application.

My medicals were done back in Nov 23 while my wife's was done in Mar 24. In Nov 24 IRCC updated my medical automatically until Nov 25. However when my wife's medical expired, it was not updated. We finally got some movement in our application last week and IRCC requested medical for both of us even though mine is still valid until Nov 25 and none of this delay has been our fault.

Do we really need to re do medical or can I save these costs by raising a webform and requesting them by sending the previous medical and explaining the situation.

If you search through the forum, almost everyone ended-up re-doing the medical again. I personally have never seen them respond to webforms and cancel an outstanding medical request (you can do a sense check on my claim by looking at old threads too).

Usually, medical costs are very low in most countries, so, I'd think through about the balance between delaying processing by requesting IRCC via a webform VS re-doing medical and saving time too!

medical costs are quite high where i am currently. will wait for some days to see if they respond to the web form. if not, then have no choice but to give the medical.

I am in Saudi Arabia and it costs like 1600 SAR for one person’s medical. It may not be that high in your currency but relative to my salary, it is quite high especially for 2.

This is relatively expensive from what I've usually seen. Most of us paid 1/10 of the cost or less, hence the curiosity!
