Hi, I am an Italian PhD student and I need a work permit for a short international research collaboration (4 months) with York University in Toronto.
My work permit application has been refused with following reason:
"C32 is for post-secondary co-op students. You have not provided evidence of being enrolled in a co-op student program, or a letter from a DLI authorizing co-op work during the study program. This appears to be a research program, not post-secondary co-op."
I do not understand the reason and which document must to be improved (e.g., "invitation letter", "research proposal").
Furthermore, York University provided me an Offer Employment number (LMIA Exempt).
I would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance!
Stefano
