Misrep bans are usually reserved for really serious matters. Like, you're a war criminal and you lied on your application about previously being deported from Canada. They're a ton of work for the officer to do, especially since they can be fought in Federal Court in Canada. Something like a missed declaration, although not an innocent matter, isn't often grounds for a ban.
We've actually seen quite a number of misrep bans here for failing to declare past visa refusals. Same goes for immigration applications. It's really not that unusual.
hi guys. i just got my Passports today. my visa is refused but ThankGod there is no ban,
Reasons are
1.Travel history
2. purpose of visit
3. Personal assets and financial status
The travel history objection means they want to see previous travel to other countries requiring visas (e.g. US, UK, Europe). So if you have this but didn't provide proof - you should provide it the next time you apply. Alternatively, you can try getting a visa to one of these countries and travel there. Then apply for the Canadian visa again afterwards.
Considering your UK travel history.... particularly on your last visit where you were issued a removal notice + overstay
... I think you must reapply for a UK General Visit visa (not a student visa).... at some point in the future before you reapply for a Canada TRV
On online CIC account, once you click on "Check Status and Messages" link in blue color you can further see the details or any letter or communication related to application at the bottom. There will be a link "Click Here" to open letter, if any. Status will also show the reason.
