Unable to Link Protected Person PR Application to IRCC Account

Hello community,

I am trying to link an application for my dad’s PR. He applied as a protected person in January 2025, and the AOR was received in May 2025. Biometrics for the applicant and dependents have also been completed. Since then, I have been trying to link the application to an IRCC account, but it keeps showing “no application found.”


Has anyone been able to link theirs successfully, or can advise what to do in this situation? I am entering all the details correctly and have done this in the past for other applicants without any issues.

call the ircc they will help you to link it.Also try to order gcms notes and enter the info in this notes at the tracking portal with trying all the options of Passport number,.....
Only you can link your father application to GCKEY excluding dependants’ applications.

You have to try exactly the same answers it's in the form you submitted when applying the PR.
(you can go to the residence permant portal and download the files) . Send a webform to ircc with the screen shots with all fields filled and the final error message during the link procedure. They will reply which one is filled incorrectly and what to put there. It might happen that everything is correct but they have an internal error on their side, so they will fix it and ask you to try again.

My case everything was correct same as my pr application but was not working so I had to write them.

Use this combination: Application number & UCI number

Between Family name/passport; select passport

For passport details; use the refugee protection claimant document (that has your photo), on the top right corner you will see a number that starts with alphabets, use it as your passport number, then use issued & expiry dates on the document

Tried multiple times now, no luck . Sent an email to IRCC to see what the problem is
