I'm a Senior Non Commissioned Officer. Regardless, that NOC still doesn't work under the express entry as it's not a 'skilled job' (apparently) and there is no requirement for it in Canada.

No points under express entry. Did the online application and got turned down immediately saying I do not qualify. I can't afford an immigration lawyer. Haven't done a language test, I don't see the point in doing that if I'm only going to get turned down anyways.
It seems the link pziegler1986 provided is a 2006 NOC list. Unfortunately, a 2011 list only contains "4313 Non-commissioned ranks of the Canadian Forces", but no NOC for foreign forces. I wonder why that is, since for every other skill there is no distinction between Canadian and foreign experience.

This would really be a stretch, but try to get a hold of the information whether claiming this NOC for UK Non-commissioned forces would be rejected by CIC.

Any NOC under 0, A or B qualifies you for Express Entry so that NOC is definitely eligible.

The question then arises whether 2006 NOC list is still valid. I argue it is not.

The new NOC 2011 replaces the NOC 2006 and Statistics Canada’s NOC-S 2006.

Agreed. You're being rejected for a different reason.

What did you enter as the funds you have available to settle in Canada? This is a mandatory requirement to qualify. You should have at least $12K in Canadian dollars available.
