Recently, we received an ADR for our non-EE PR application asking for my husband’s military records. The details are as follows:
Military Records: A certified copy of military records. If you were exempt, please provide official proof of military exemption from the relevant authority. This must be received at this office by 2026/04/16.
I feel extremely confused about this. First of all, I am quite sure that in all relevant forms, we indicated “None” for military service experience. Also, military service in China is voluntary rather than compulsory, and in fact there is often fierce competition to be enrolled in the armed forces. In this case, what document should I provide???
