UCI Number Received while profile is ineligible

I have received UCI Number on Express Entry along with Express Entry profile number. However, my profile is ineligible. Is my profile really ineligible or is it an error on CIC's side and they're still reviewing my application? I thought you usually receive UCI when the application is in progress.

You application is in process first before they determine your eligibility. So it makes sense that you have an UCI but is ineligible.

You can keep using this UCI the next time you apply anything.

Once you submit your application and cic received it, you will have a uci,it's like an account. It has nothing to do with eligibility tho. But you can use this Uci number for any application which processed by cic,visitor visa , family class sponsorship, skilled worker etc.

Well, then I guess my profile's eligibility decision is still in process. That's what my Consultant said. But it has been the same for several months now. Worried
