I think its the same AWB number as the courier service is two way that we pay for.

But please correct me if I am wrong, if anyone knows this for sure? Whether we get separate AWB for returning package?

Yes. Happened with me as well in my PR application.

05 Jan 2022 - PPR
06 Jan 2022 - Raised Webform
08 Jan 2022 - Got AWB
10 Jan 2022 - Package dropped off at Blue dart (Amritsar, Punjab)
12 Jan 2022 - Package delivered to VFS-Delhi and VFS Tracking ID Generated
13 Jan 2022- Package delivered and under process at IRCC-Delhi
20 Jan 2022 - Package dispatched back from VFS, AWB not issued yet.
21 Jan 2022- Counterfoil generated in the IRCC account.

Did you get email for dispatch and another email for counterfoil?

AWBs are diffent for delivery and return. You can track your package by entering the VFS Tracking # on the Bluedart tracking website under the 'Ref no' option. It might take 24 hours for the VFS tracking to work on the Bluedart website though.

Got an email for dispatch but not for counterfoil. I checked the counterfoil by logging in to the IRCC account.

How much time it took after passport collected?

passport was collected on Dec 25, 2021 and received it back on 13th Januray, 2022.

I have been waiting for my passport to be collected since 8 days. AWB number was generated 8 days ago. Can anyone tell me what I should do? I have reached out to VFS - no reply. Bluedart is telling me that they haven't received this AWB number at all. This is really awful....
