My spouse got her ECA done and has two bachelor's degree per evaluated report, however have received credit of only 8 points as against 9 points for two or more degrees

I am in the same boat. My spouse's ECA report says - Post Graduate with 1 year of PG Diploma. Per CRS calculator, she should get 9 points but the EE Profile shows only 8 as there is no option to choose '2 or more degree or diploma'.

Anyone can help with understanding this? TIA

Per Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report, my spouse's Canadian Education Equivalency is 'Bachelor's degree (four years) and postgraduate diploma (one year).
Can you please let me know how to enter this in my Express Entry application? The values in the drop down for 'Study and Languages' doesn't have the option of choosing "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees". This option is however in the CRS Calculator and also at the following page - cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/eca-conversion.asp. Per this page, my wife should get credit for 'A three-year or more certificate, diploma, or degree PLUS Postgraduate Diploma.
Please help with my query as I am losing a point because of this issue.
Thanks,
Ritesh

Add them in individually.

Sorry but can you kindly elaborate?

I have currently added 2 lines for her.
1. Bachelor of Science (India) --- Bachelors Degree (Canadian equivalency). I am getting 8 points for this.
2. Master of Science (India) --- *** what shud be the Canadian equivalency here???*** None of the options in the drop down pertains to 'Post Graduate Diploma'

Have you had the second ECA? If so it will say something like "1 year post secondary" on it.

You won't get any points unless you have an ECA for both.

I have just 1 ECA report which is inclusive of BSc and MSc. The overall (combined) Canadian Equivalency is 'Bachelors degree with 1 year PG Diploma'.

I guess you list both qualifications with the same ECA details repeated.

Hi Kryton,

I'm having a similar issue. I got an email on 3 Dec asking me to update my education as I previously selected "two or more degrees".

My ECA (WES) assessment classed my degree as a "bachelors degree (4 years)" and my post-graduate diploma as a "post-graduate diploma".

On the list where there used to be "two or more..." there is no entry for a PG diploma to label my diploma.

All that there is listed is:
* One-year program at a university
* Two-year program at a university
* Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university
* Master's degree or a professional degree
* Doctoral level (PhD)

I currently have 463 points and don't want this to drop to 430 because it potentially only recognises my bachelor's. The draw is tomorrow so I just left it and didn't make changes as my points haven't dropped this morning following last night's system update / 12 Dec cut-off to make changes.

Need help because I don't want to not be invited tomorrow in case they drop the points lower than 463!

Was the post grad 1 year long? If so I'd see t the 1 year option. You list the qualifications separately.

I chose the option 'One-year program at a university' in a separate line but the scores didn't change. Apparently, this option is for folks who just have done a 1 year course after high-school. In other words, this option is not same as 'PG Diploma of 1 year'.

That's what I'm worried about, that my score will go down to 430 before tomorrow's potential draw and there's no way for me to change it back to 463.
