TRV inside Canada query

Hi,

I recently applied for my TRV application with my new study permit. I applied previously for TRV just few months back and I received an email on the acknowledgment for my application number.

However, this time I didn't receive any acknowledgment email for my application submitted and it shows no application number. Just shows payment have been received.

Is it normal?
