TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Hi @Kingdom2018 Can I please know when you submitted your request for your TRV. I submitted Dec 4th and have a flight for Jan 20th. Want to know if I’m within the average recent processing time.

I submit my trv on Nov 19, Still in process

I applied on 1st of December 2020, in toronto.
Didn’t get any updates ever since...
I have to go to india for emergency purposes
Is it okay if we get stamped in India or should I wait for their reply??
Also I have a valid work permit

did you submit the Bio? if not don't try that, Im facing the same situation

Same happened with me. I have applied for Trv on Nov 22 and reviewing eligibility started on December 20 . After that there is No update till now . I am on PGWp and live in Ontario.

yes, but it take time. if you bio then it take less than my friend. for him it take around 6-7 months

I would suggest that don’t take risk for your passport. The better option is postpone your flight and get the stamp done while you are in Canada.

I said that I have family emergency as my father is sick.
Also if u r applying from canada u r exempt from giving biometrics(thats wht I’ve heard plus they didn’t ask for mine).

congratulations and thanks for responding . Are you on a study permit ? Or a work permit? Just so we can place how long they take depending on status. Also how long did wait for your passport request after the eligibility review started please? I applied Dec 4 so this gave me good morale
