TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Applied for TRV within Canada on October 6th.

Before that applied for a wrong type of visa with 5707 Form and had to withdraw the application.

Need your help in extension of my visa. I have valid work permit but my visa(coubterfoil on passport) is expiring soon.Which form I need to fill , is it 5257 or 5708e. Could you please guide me through the process?

Hi you need to submit a web form and cancel application. Then re submit new application and pay fees. They will refund the fees when application is cancel

Thanks for the advise, could you please let me know what to fill in purspose of visit under details of visit section, Options which I found relevant are Visit,returning Worker,Others..

Recently applied for TRV with current status as worker and got it in two or so days

If you are applying inside canada as a worker ; work permit , passport and photo + imm5257 should be all that’s needed

When you login into the account you can see the option withdraw the application.

I applied on March 8 and still no reply. The processing window shows March 5.

I just recently applied for a TRV to Canada for holiday. On the IMM 5645 E. I mistakenly omitted the marital status of my sister and father. They are both married.

Applied: Feb 25
Biometrics Requested: 27 Feb
BioMetrics completed: 19th MArch
BioMetrics Updated Online: 19 March 2019. Expiry March 2029

I've heard that visitor visas are fairly quick when you apply online.

No updates or messages on the portal.

Any tips ?

If your application stuck it for long time. Just withdraw it and apply again
