I applied from Mumbai on 23rd April. However it still shows as processing in Bangalore. Any idea how long will it take.
When I applied that time it was showing 18 days, which now has increased to 24 days.
Can someone help as to what should be my step, apart from wait and watch?

Dear GURPREET SINGH MANN

Thank you for making your application to visit Canada! We have received a large number of visitor visa applications from clients wanting to visit Canada at the same time as you.

We want to assure you that your application is in process and is proceeding normally. We continue to process the applications as quickly as possible.

Please remember we will contact you through the contact details you provided if any information is required or when your application is ready to be finalized. We appreciate your patience and ask that you contact our office ONLY if there is a change in:

· your mailing address, e-mail address, or phone number

· your passport

· other NEW information relevant to your application (for example you want to withdraw your application, or you want to add /revoke a representative)

If you need to update your information, send it to our officeonce, using only one method (Online Account or the Web formon the IRCC website or email). Please remember it is important to use your !!!!!!! for any communication with us about this file.

There are some things you can do to help us to process:

§ Create an Online Account to check for status updates, and upload any documents that we request through your online account. Documents submitted this way reach an officer faster. To create an Online Account please note your application number is !!!!!???? and visit our website:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp.

§ Please do not send us documents unless we have requested them. Your application is in queue for processing and sending us information we have not requested pulls resources away from file processing. If we need information, we will contact you.

§ Please send all attachments (for example: new passport information) in PDF format for faster processing.

§ Be patient. Your application is in queue for processing and we will contact you if we need any additional information.

Did you know? Sending case status enquiries or multiple documents takes resources away from file processing, resulting in longer processing times. We know you want to be sure we received your message, but sending us the same information multiple times pulls resources away from file processing, resulting in longer processing times for everyone.

Why do processing times change?Processing times tell you how long it took to process applications in the past after receiving a complete application package. Processing times can vary depending on how many applications we received or if additional documents are required. Not sure if additional documents are required? Remember, if we need information, we will contact you.

While your application is being processed, you can check out some helpful resources to check on your application status, or find responses to frequently asked questions:

· Check processing times on our website:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp

PR File:
Submitted - Nov 16 2017
Transfer to NDVO: Feb 6 2018
BGC in process: Feb 27 2018
no updates after that.

TRV:
Applied on April 23rd 2018
No updates besides an email today (India time) saying that we are processing you application because number of days are exceeded than the processing time for visitor's visa.

I am the sponsor and these details are for my wife.

Thanks
Is it your first time applying for trv? I heard from an agent that CIC takes 2-3 months to process trv if it's the second time and the first app was rejected.

Applied online for my parents on April 03, 2018. Still says under process.
Sent case specific enquiry, an automated response came after 7 days- "Cant disclose datails on this email", surprisingly the email used was the one used in Online form..

Hopefully this week we may get decision, already 26 days.
My 5 relatives applied in last week of April for a marriage in July. Three applied online, and one applied paper, 3 got rejected on 11th may, they applied on 1st may. One got rejected on 7th may, he applied 24th april at chd vfs.
Now only i am remaining and waiting for result. All had good sponsorship and well to do jobs and business with more then required ties to country, all blood relatives.
Hoping for a positive decision for myself.

If 26th then the passport would have reached Consulate only by 30th April as 27,28 are weekends ..so its 24 days today.
