TRV application within Canada MAY 2014 timeline

I just received an email from CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca>

it says:

In response to your enquiry, our office has now concluded its part in the processing of your application and your file has been transferred to the Visa Office in New York

For further information please contact the Visa Office in New York

Wow.what does that mean. You should try contacting the ney York office..email them..i m guessing u would get an email to my cic very soon..also can u please post the email u had sent to ottawa with the subject line u used to get the response

I just sent NY office a case specific enquiry.. don't know when they would reply..
I guess because my case is complicated and I didn't upload school letter/transcript or any of that kind of stuff, so they need someone with a higher clearance level to go over my files and i'm in a queue waiting ...
the title was 'Delay of extension of temporary resident visa'

I don't understand. Why you have to contact NY office, you are applying TRV within Canada. It is getting so weird. But good news is that they replied you at least confirming that they have completed their processing....... Hope you get some good news soon.
