Travelling by land to US with COPR

I am a US citizen who was recently approved for PR. I applied outland if that makes a difference. I was wondering if I would have issues travelling by car to and from the US/Canada with just the COPR? I heard it takes 6 weeks to get the actual PR card and I cannot wait to see my friends any longer lol.

Yes - you'll be fine. All you really need is your passport.

Thank you. I thought it should be ok but I just wanted a little piece of mind. If I just show them my US passport and COPR when I am coming back into Canada that will be sufficient?

Again, you don't need your CORP since you are visa exempt. Your passport is sufficient. My husband had no issues leaving and returning several times.

U need to give Canada address for sending your PR card.

I think you misunderstood me. I am only wanting to go to the US for the day. I will remain living in Canada at the same address CIC has on file for me.
