Hello everyone,

Seeking some guidance.

We sponsored our parent under PR parent/grandparent sponsorship. They already have COPR and visa and will expire by May 2026. However, mother(principal applicant) recently diagnosed with low grade bladder cancer. She underwent cystoscopy and transurethral resection of bladder tumor and is stable and discharged.

Can she continue to land?

Thank you.

She needs to update any changes to her medical history.

Congratulations on your mother's recovery. Yes, she can likely still land. Since a COPR is already issued, the key is to demonstrate her condition is stable and under control to the border officer . Bring all her medical reports and a doctor's letter confirming she's stable and the treatment is complete.
