My friend said when they ask us to submit our passport. If there is discrepancy between what we upload and what actually is they will reject our PR even if they approved it. That's really scared the sh** out of me.

Thats BS. If you travel after your eAPR, the travel stamps will be after that date. CIC does not expect you to stay in your current country till you get your COPR. You are free to travel anywhere. If you move to a different country, then you have to notify CIC about that.

Agree. I traveled to other countries (China, Phillipines, etc) after eAPR and my application had no problem.
Possible reason for your friend's case would be he/she stay in other countries for too long -> residency is questionable or police clearance for that country is required.
