Travel to Bermuda from Canada in first week of March when PR card expires end of Mar

Hello All,

I am planning to visit Bermuda for 5 days in Mar 2018.My PR card expires on Mar 27 2018 and I am in the process of putting in an application for a new one. I also have applied for Canadian Citizenship a month ago.

As per CIC's website I read that you can enter back into Canada with a valid PR card. Also I have left Canada for just 77 days in the last 4 years since I have the PR card.

Will it be okay to keep the PR card renewal and Citizenship renewal payment reciept as proof in case questioned at the border.

As long as your PR card is valid when you return, there shouldn’t be any problem. If it’s expired when you return, boarding the aircraft will be difficult.
