Transcripts from affiliated instutions

Hi,

I am a Sri Lankan, and I completed my BBM degree at Garden City College which is affiliated to Bangalore University.

I would like to know that while applying to universities in Canada, that if it is okay to send transcripts which are issued by the affiliated institute and not by the main University.
