Transcript from VTU to WES

[Transcripts]

With respect to the above points, I received my marks card (all 8 sems ) and a consolidated marks card from VTU in 2015. Now in order to apply for wes, do i need to follow step 2 or step 5? kindly reply.

As per transcripts process you have to pay University fees of 500Rs and degree attestation 300Rs and internatioal shipping charges for WES. it will take within a week after submitting your documents for dispatch from University. If you're finding difficulty to visit, you can opt services like Uttarika for transcript application. uttarika dot com

I have a query....First of all....Thanq all who had shared the process for WES verification....Is there any way to fasten the process of transcripts reaching WES from VTU...like if we reach out in person to university and submit the application then whether they will post the transcripts with in a week etc? Any additional charges etc?
In VTU forms for they have online and in-person options - For, in-person they mentioned transcripts will be given on same day....so anyone tried this approach? I know VTU will not give it to our hand but whether if we go to university office whether they can do in less duration?...Please throw some light on this....

I tried in-person option, and they Dont give on the same day. They will take a week time. You will get a sms when the transcript is ready. However, WES Don't accept a transcript from you. University has to send it directly. For this, you need to mention WES ADDRESS in the form. They take a few days to send the transcript. However, India post may take some time. Anyway, both, VTU and India post were very quick in my case.

Thank you for the information and clarification Bharat...Appreciate it. So, even if we go in person and submit the documents then it is not of much advantage right? BTW you mentioned that in your case it was quick...Your docs reached WES with in 2 weeks of form submission or so?

I don't remember if we had online form option 2 years back. But, the in-person and online submission options shouldn't affect the transcript receive time. Yes, I could see the status change in the WES PORTAL in 15 days. So, the transcript should have been delivered in 15 days.

That shouldn't matter. If you stay in Bangalore, then you can go to VTU office at annaporneswari Nagar and submit it in-person.

hello,
I just confirmed from the University by calling them on 0831-2498147.
Suggestion: Before following the below steps, please inquire.

They said:
1. Request for the transcripts by filling up the form here.
2. Pay the required fee for the transcript, if applicable.
3. Pay Postal charges (Rs.1500/-). Mandatory to directly post to WES. (Make sure you have WES Reference Number)
4. Mention the WES delivery address in the FORM (step 1) . Also, attach the WES Request Form duly filled, Payment Receipts.You can also attach your degree certificate to save on courier.
And send them to :
The Registrar(Evaluation)
Visvesvaraya Technological University
“Jnana Sangama”
Belagavi : 590018
Karnataka, India.
(You are DONE)
5. In case you already have transcripts received from University, Write an application to Registrar Evaluation requesting to post the documents directly to WES.
6. Send application, filled and signed WES Request Form, degree certificate, Official transcripts (if step 5 applies to you) to below address.

I have my BE,MTech and PhD from VTU and I have to send all the transcripts to WES. I have the following questions:

1. Should I have to go/approach/send to VTU-Belgaum only?; else, can I go/approach/send to VTU in Bangalore (I currently reside in Bangalore)
2. Since all my 3 degrees -- BE; M.Tech; PhD -- are from VTU, is there any possibility to send all three in the same post instead of sending 3 different covers to WES?
3. I also have a Diploma from DTE-Bangalore. Procedure do send the Diploma Marks Card to WES.

Any help/advice will be appreciated.

While applying for the transcript, Should we self attest the Degree Certificate and if not, should the degree certificate be attested and if yes, should we make the payment along with the payment for Transcript, that is 500 (OT)+ 300(degree Certificate attestation)+1500 (postal)?

Hi. I am in the same confusion state. I live in Qatar. I have sent to VTU 3 weeks back the color copy of my degree certificate with WES number written on it along with Transcript Application+ Payment Receipt+ WES Registration form and Letter to VTU Registrar and I had paid 2000 ( 500 for Transcript + 1500 for Postal Charges to WES). Now after calling multiple times, a lady in VTU picked the call and saying that Degree Certificate should be attested by Registrar or else WES will reject. Not only that I have to pay Rs 1800 again (300 for Attestation and 1500 again for postal charges to WES) whereas my Transcript is still in VTU reached 2 days back. Still didn't dispatch. I don't think its reasonable. Can anyone confirm whether attestation on Degree Certificate is Mandatory? If yes, I should act quickly. Thank you.

I too am from Qatar and I'm confused if we should include degree certificate along with the rest of the attachments and if we are including the degree certificate, should it be attested? and should we pay 500+1500+300 in total?

Hai Everyone...

My Documents documents from VTU to WES Canada has done within 4 DAYS...

This Covid-19 lockdown has put some advantages to Canadian PR aspirants....
I confirmed with RE VTU, I just mailed my documents with application and fees of Rs. 2000, they sent my transcript to WES within 4 days...I got confirmation mail from WES for the Same....Thank you so Much Vtu for this rapid process
