Tracking PNP October 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

With Julian getting PPR and Octoberian getting criminal docs request. I am guessing Oct batch is going through screening right now and very hopeful we will have first ppr next month :-*

I was told by my representative that the doctor's office will send the medical reports to IHS (Immigration Health Services). IHS will update internally with respective visa offices in their system.

I don't think that they missed it. It should be in a proper place....don't worry.

By the way, do you have doctor's fee receipt with you? If yes, just send a scanned copy of it to CIO by email. It just shows a proof that you finished your medicals.

That's right, IHS is probably the Ottawa office they referred to. But the waiting times don't make sense, according to the forum in-Canada candidates that passed medicals in January already have their status updated.
Its killing me ???

Dr.'s receptionist is very confident that a period of 5 weeks is "perfectly normal" time period to process and mail medicals. I don't know how and she cannot explain either.

Yes I got the tracking number and my reports are still in Toronto . I am worried this might cause a delay in my application processing.


"Cio received them just yesterday (Feb 12)." Did they update it on ECAS or is it the time they take to receive the medicals by mail?

Whatttt? If you took your medicals on Jan 4th, the doctor sent the results to CIO on Feb 12th??????? Why it took for them 5 weeks?...it's too long no doubt. Usually it should take just one week for them to analyze the reports at their labs. In my case, my family of 3 members took medicals on Jan 25th and the doctor's office sent the reports to CIO on Jan 31. Cio received them just yesterday (Feb 12).

Anyway, do you have the tracking number now? If yes, just keep checking the status.

The tracking number I got has its origin from Whitby and where as I had my medicals done in Toronto.

Cool! Could you please tell me how you got the RCMP Police clearance? How you applied? Was it electronic? When you applied? Did RCMP send the clearance to you and you posted it to CIC? Appreciate your help.

Looks like my impatience has taken me over... I'm going tomorrow to get the electronic fingerprints taken so that I get the process going. I like the pace its at right now...

It's responsibility of the doctor to send the results to Ottawa.

Hope October applicant get PPR soon, you will be next..Can you explain procedure how you got RCMP clearance, how to do it electronically finger print submission,
how long took for u get that get criminal record, i was check in RCMP site it saying 18 weeks too long.. ...its appreciated for your help..Thanks in advance.

@ sandy - we can do at local Police station? is there will do electronic finger print, we have to send application with finger prints to main office @ Ottawa or Local office?
i did not get any mail from CIC still, ..i think its time for asking everyone RCMP

Im applying within Canada and I got requested to send police certificates for my country of origin (Colombia) but it did not mentioned anything about the RCPM certificate? Are all of you guys being requested the RCPM certificate? could it be the case that they might have a recent one from my work visa extension?
