MEDICAL REQUEST 13 DEC 2012
MEDICAL DONE -18 DEC 2012
MEDICAL REC IN SYDNEY-3RD JAN 2013
MEDICAL UPDATE ONLINE-11 FEB 2013

After doing the medicals, do we need to send the receipts to CIO or CIC?

I called my doctor today to get my tracking number for the results. And the receptionist told me that I was supposed to mail my receipts to the immigration and keep a copy for myself.

Can any one comment on this?

Hey everyone,

I got a request today to send the RCMP certificate before mid April. I saw the processing time for it and found that it take 18 weeks to get the RCMP certificate after sending the finger prints and I will not be able to make the deadline. Has anyone applied for the RCMP certificate earlier and how long did it take to receive it?

All the best to everyone!

Hi Mirza,

It's always better to send a copy of doctor's fee receipt to CIO once you are done with your medicals. But just sending the scanned copy is enough, not the original receipt. It's just a proof that you have done your medicals. And keep the original copy with you just in case if it's required in future.

Good luck buddy.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Oh I didn't send my receipt after finishing medical.

Online satus says "Medical Results have been received". Do I have to send it now?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sandyboy,

I never applied but it says on website that if you do electronic finger print submission then processing time is 3 business days or less.

I applied on Oct 12,2012 and our time line is pretty close so keep in touch.

Thanks

Thanks Sarayu. I will send them scanned copies of my receipts.

Hi Kamya,

I'm an in-Canada applicant and from the process I saw online to get the RCMP Criminal Record Check, it had to be taken on a particular form from a local RCMP Police Station, so I dont see if that could have been done electronically. I'm hoping someone has applied earlier and would tell us their experience, especially mentioning that they got it within 4 weeks or so :D Anyway, now I have to wait patiently and hope it gets processed soon.

Sure, will keep in touch. I sure hope we get the PPR soon... :)

In response to your question on sending the medical examination receipt, it's not necessary to send now when the status is updated to "Medicals have been received".

All the best!

Kamya!

I do not think you need to send them the receipts now. They have already received your medical results and updated their online database.

Secondly, I had my medicals done on January 4th. But today Dr.'s receptionist told me that they have sent the results on Feb 12th. Upon my query she said that this is perfectly normal time for medical reports processing.

Anyone knows if this delay in sending medical reports by doctor cause a delay in my application processing. I see on this forum an applicant who had medical examination on Jan 4th had E-CAS updated with 'Medical Received' already.

Hey Kamya,

I don't think you need to send the scanned copy of receipt now as your ECAS has been updated with "Medicals Received".

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sarayu,

Could you please update the Oct Tracksheet with my timelines? Appreciate it.

Thanks,
Sandyboy

Whatttt? If you took your medicals on Jan 4th, the doctor sent the results to CIO on Feb 12th??????? Why it took for them 5 weeks?...it's too long no doubt. Usually it should take just one week for them to analyze the reports at their labs. In my case, my family of 3 members took medicals on Jan 25th and the doctor's office sent the reports to CIO on Jan 31. Cio received them just yesterday (Feb 12).

Anyway, do you have the tracking number now? If yes, just keep checking the status.

Thanks,
Sarayu.

Hi Sandy,

I am sorry, but I don't have write access to Oct track sheet.

Thanks,
Sarayu.
