Nova Scotia received my documents October 9, 2012. my Credit Card was charged i think, nov 15, 2012. i finally got my AOR Nov 28, 2012.
i applied under Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Family Class December 31, 2011. My cousin is sponsoring me.
i'm applying outside Canada and my visa office is Manila.

its really quite a surprise when i received my Med Request.. i was thinking that with the holiday season and all, i was prepared to wait till mid-February. Good thing the Med Request was sent earlier.

Just on a quick note I need to ask all of you guys that if e.g if any of my forms contain mistakes so will the cic e-mail me or mail that form to correct it .

I applied to CIC in the month of October and there was some information missing in one of the form. CIC emailed me to resend thme the form with missing information updated.

But it caused one month delay in processing of my application as compared to other Oct. applicants on this forum.

I would like to request all of you to please update your Category/stream under which you applied and the visa office that you sent you application to. This will help explain some of the timelines.

What is your visa office. I am an In-Canada applicant but I haven't received my MR yet. In my AOR they told me that my file will be transferred to the visa office but I am not sure whether it has been transferred or not.

Did anyone of you requested for the GCMS?

Thanks for updating my details to excel sheet.
I have applied under QSW (Quebec Skilled worker program)
In my AOR it has mentioned that file will be transferred to VO but did not mention the name. I have applied as CPP-O in my application and assume that file will be xfered to CPP-o.

a great present to usher the new year!

Just a couple of questions if you don't mind
since we have the same VO.

1. Did you receive AOR from VO before receiving
your MR? I assume your AOR from your timeline is from CIO.
2. Do you have dependents ir just yourself?

My file was received at CIO last Oct1, AOR last Nov22 and waiting
for my VO AOR & MR since then. I applied thru FSW backlog
reduction pilot under MPNP.

for the next update of our applications. May
this year(2013) brings us good news as days unfold.

hi milsrome!

i'm happy to answer your questions. ^_^
i didn't receive any AOR from the Manila Visa Office. After i submitted my application to CIO Nova Scotia, i waited for my Processing Fee to be encashed- after that i waited for the AOR from CIO- then follows the Medical Request from VO.

From what what i read with other forums once CIO e-mails an AOR, the next step is to wait for the Med Request from VO. ^_^

I'm also just applying for myself thru the Provincial Nominee Program.

I think you should be receiving your Med Request soon.. though were of different Stream/Category, the dates are not that far off..

Hello everyone,

I need your guidance in the following matter:

Application received by CIC:October18,2012

SINP SKILLED WORKER EXISTING WP APPLICANT.

My file was sent back as CC could not be charged.

I sent back the file along with MONEY ORDER which was received on December17,2012.

Till date NO AOR or MEDICAL.

What is GCMS?

Please guide me.

Hi Dadaum,
You have to wait for AOR, looking at your timeline it looks most probably you will get AOR by Mid Feb or last feb.

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to this forum.

This is my case:

- CIO received my application on 4 Oct 2012.
- Payment dated on 9 Nov 2012.
- I received an email from CIO that my application is complete and will be sent to VO for further processing.

Haven't heard anything back about anything at all. I've applied from Ontario and I live in Canada and have a Work Permit.
what is my next step?
what should I be waiting for and what are the usual processing times to get my Med's Request?

I'd appreciate any guidance as I'm really worried that it's taking too long.
