Just expect your card to arrive at maximum of 47 days, so this probably be arriving by November 9 to 12. Pending printing of cards is due to massive applications receives and landed immigrants arrivals everyday in all port of entries of Canada. So be patient..

Did you somehow, changed your address? if not, then call CIC to follow-up.

Hello, I have kind of three urgent questions!
My wife and I were supposed to receive our PR cards in mid-September which we didn't get! I called CIC on October 4th and they told me that they sent the card on Sep 4th so probably cards have been lost in mail and I need to send solemn declaration. But, surprisingly the agent told us that my wife's card has been sent back to them and they will resend it again.
Anyway, on October 16th I sent the solemn declaration for myself (by fax) and the same day they sent my wife's card. However, till now we haven't received her card yet.
Now my questions are: how long dose usually take for a card to get from CIC to us? It's more than 10 days now! Does it mean they lost the card again? (I checked the addresses and they are correct, we regularly get mail at the same address).
Then, do we have any chance to take our flight on Dec 7th?
And, what would you do if you were in our situation?

Ok, I'm writing to give some updates about our case!
We received my wife's card two weeks after they sent it! I guess it took a bit longer than usual because there was a post strike (we thought we won't get it any more and loosing our hope).

About my card, on October 29th I got an email from CIC account and when I logged in, it shows that my new card has been approved the same day. I received my new card on November 1st. So the whole solemn declaration process took 17 days till I got the new card. On cic website, the processing time were 47 and 107 days for first PR card applicants and the other group respectively.

My suggestion to you is to see your postman and let him/her know that your are waiting for the card. It reduces the chance of your card getting lost (they have a really good memory of addresses and names). Don't forget to give them a gift out of courtesy when you get you card (according to law, if I found it correctly, you can give a gift of maximum $20 to the mail person).
