And for PR card processing , there is no dependent. Everyone is the main applicant.
Yes, you are correct as the dependents are separately get their PR cards, but the Agent confirmed that when they start processing principle applicant and landed on same date, the entire family will be processed at the same time. So it does not really matter that whether the family status is going to change by online or not.

The only way is to call them and ask, if there is any photo request or what is the status?

so my landing date is: oct 13...

today my status changed to "approved"....so there is no email or message in my account, but i guess it is approved right?
What is the status of your additional documents part?

Hi Everyone,

Tracking this thread for a while. Here are my experience with picture and timelines if it helps :

10/15- Landed at Pearson, Toronto from USA
10/18- Linked PR app to my CIC page. Myself ( Primary applicant), spouse and two children.
11/20- Called IRCC to update my delivery address.
11/20- My additional doc status changed to : "The Additional documents you have provided has been uploaded."
Status for my spouse and children remained: "No additional document required."
11/28: My Spouse additional doc status goes to "The additional document you provided are being reviewed"
11/29: Both children status changed to "The additional document you provided are being reviewed"
12/01: Spouse gets email from IRCC for New Photo Request. She got the email on her email ID.
12/04: Status for myself and two children is "Approved."
My addition doc request is still :"The Additional documents you have provided has been uploaded."
Children's is still: "The additional document you provided are being reviewed"

About picture:

No studio in USA could give me right measurement so I had clicked myself using my DSLR and edit using https://www.idphoto4you.com/ and then printed at Target. I was not very careful while editing and deviated from actual measurement while editing. ( Didn't know then that IRCC is so particular)
Mine was exact per the requirement. spouse picture were slightly off and children were much off. So I am assuming IRCC relaxes the requirement for children, but sticks to exact requirement in case of adults.

Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Final decision: Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

thats what made me a lil confused.. no messages but status says approved.

Thanks for your info. I checked my status after seeing your post.

I landed on Oct 14, just one day later than yours.

My timeline:
Nov 27:Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Dec 4: Final decision: Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

I didn't see any msg either. I thought I would be asking for new photos, as the "reviewing status" was lasting for 5 days.

Good luck for everyone.

Hi

I have a question.
Do they send PR car in regular mail or one have to sign to get it at post office?

Thanks

I also got the "retake photo" email.

When I went to another photographer and showed him a copy of the original photos that I sent to the IRCC, I was told that the photo was perfectly fine. According to him, IRCC is very disorganized and often they lose or mismatch photos, and then simply claim that the photo is not good. This would certainly explain why some people resend exactly the same photos and then they get accepted.

I landed on October 17th, and could not link my application.
Today I called CIC and got a very rude agent, he was abrupt and said because of holidays you will receive your card not before 1st week of January.
He wasn't willing to even check as 61 days haven't passed yet.
I am travelling on December 11th and PRTD is the option if I did not receive my PR cards before that. However, looking at the pace at which people are receiving their cards, I am hopeful.

Did they asked you for any documents? If so, when and how did you send the documents. Thanks a lot
