Hi All, I landed on 26th Sep in Vancouver and still waiting for a Card

How long it takes the PR Card to reach from Vancouver to Edmonton ? I got PR Card approved about a week ago ... landed in Vanc and address given was that of Edmonton...
Did soft landing...

just type the "xxx" in full and it should work, do not include "Punj"

I was having same issue. Just try putting state as PUNJAB beside of PUNJ. This will work.

I tried typing all in caps and also included the comma and a space but no success

So I called today to ask about the card. The guy basically said the average is 18 days and it's too early as I only landed 16 days back. But if I don't get it in 6 weeks(!!!) I should call and they will help me re-apply. Sigh....

Where did you land?

You can call them again tomorrow morning EST and you will hear another update. Ask them to inform the concerned PR officer to expedite this.

I called them on Tuesday and that time they told me my application is still under processing and is beyond the 2 weeks period so they sent an email to the officer but said that it might take 1 month to get any reply.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably pick it up on Tuesday. Seems Canada doesn't want to let me go

After 25 days, I called CIC - Card didn't start to be processed.
The officer emailed the PR card processing sector to check the reason for the delay
27 days after landed - I called CIC, no updates
30 days after landed - I called CIC - Card approved and it was in the production
35 days after landed - Called CIC - Card mailed
37 days after landed - Cards arrived!!!! (October 18, 2019)
FINALLY!!!!!

Since it's past the 18 days normal processing as of today, he left a note for the processing center (Sydney?) to work on it. And then the best part - he said they should process it in 30 days, but if I don't hear back I should contact them again on November 23(!!!!).

Talk about frustrating.......

When u call them did they ask about your details to verify like DOB, application no, Country of birth etc ??

As I recall, gave them UCI first, then got asked the verification questions - full name, date of birth and country of birth.
