Well me and my friend both found out that if you type in the city and state with comma as you filled in the application, it works. But given your passport and application detail should match exactly, they both should work
This is what I am trying to say: they don't match. Some people tried with a comma and it didn't work. They had to remove the comma. For me, worked with the slash.

Perhaps it depends on who in filling up your PR card application.

Hello Guys

I landed on 12th July and I really want to travel back to my Home Country on or before 22nd September.

I know it takes normally 60-61 Days which is 12th or 13th of September.

You guys think i should just go ahead and Book my Flights for 20th or 21st September. As i do not want to leave without the Card just to be on Safe side.

Thanks in Advance

It will really be tight, coz card takes 1week or so in transition through snail mail. So plan accordingly, September end to me looks good

I would strongly caution you. If there are any delays, additional photo request, strikes, etc you will not get it in time. General suggestion is to have at least 3 months in hand from the time you land and the planned trip date.

However, I am just stating the worst case scenario but everything is possible with CIC. Like it sadly happened to me.

Good luck and hope for the best!

Is there a way to track the PR card, or just to wait for the card to arrive. Any links or reference numbers to track.Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks.

Current processing time seems to be 61 days,

Check if your travel reason qualifies for urgent processing, if so you can apply,

I recommend not to book the tickets until you receive your card. It is not guaranteed that they will accelerate your document processing time even if you qualify to leave.
