Yes they have started 100$ wp holder fee which is non refundable since feb 2015. So its 255 bucks per wp , if you have a spouse and applying for their wp aswell (sowp) it will be 255 * 2.

WOW :o Thanks! I had no idea. Also, do you happen to know if they would accept a bank payment (original receipt) if I sent my application right now? I am asking because they are phasing out that method of payment and on their website it says they will accept it till March 31, Does this apply to when the application is received or processed? Thanks!

I applied online and application is submitted only after successful online payment.
So if you are paying thru bank i guess The same applies, i.e payment first processing afterwards.
So payment will processed when application is received.

Hi guys,

I have a quick question regarding the BOWP application I submitted today. Under the Given name I have provided " not applicable" as I just carry one name which I have put under the Surname field.I checked later that CIC asks you to leave the field blank if you do not have other name,i.e. ,don't write "not applicable". Now that I already submitted it,im just afraid if they could make big deal out of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

am planing to apply on paper for my 2nd bowp, since i plan to travel around 28.jun.
my question is do i need to file actual pictures or i can just print our pictures on paper.

am oct 20th applicant, and hoping that maybe our case will be done by then, but just to be safe ill apply for bowp.

hey guys, I saw a line in the IMM 5556 checklist, offer of employment to a foreign national exempt from a labour market impact assessment(LMIA) IMM5802 with proof of payment by the employer(receipt number). your employer should provide it to you.

Do you really need this thing? even for old CEC?

Can some one help me in providing the information. I am applying for BOWP and my dependent status is (wife with Open work permit and kids on visitor record). I want to include my dependents along with BOWP application,so please let me know which form I need to submit for them.Want to change my spouse from open WP to visitor while submitting my application.

Hi,

I'm applying for BOWP. Should I apply for a work permit with the same employer or an initial work permit if my current one is a Post graduate work permit. I will still be working in the same company. Likewise, does anybody know if I still need to get a medical for the work permit as I work in a daycare? I called CIC and the agent said no need but on the website it says yes. I also talked to a consultant who assured me that I don't need one. Now I am confused. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I have applied for BOWP in Feb and looks like current processing time is 97 days so, i am expecting atleast end of may

Is there any way we can apply online now, with an explanation letter to officer to use same payment receipt which is used in Paper application? Online Process is pretty faster and its 10 days even though website says 37 days
 
on the form IMM5710E, for Q3 did you check both "intial wp or a WP with a new employer" and "Temporary resident Permit" or just intial Work Permit Option? please help.
 
In the Checklist, what do you mean by phtocopy of ypur current immigration document. DOes it refer to the AOR? Confused ? Please advice
