Hi,
Can anyone share their experiences for the CSQ selection interview.

1. How long is it held for?
2. When would I know about the results? (on the same day?)
3. As I know, the interview is in French mostly, but, can I speak in English where I cannot speak in French?
4. How long does it take to get the actual interview dates after getting the interview waiting list details?
5. How is normally the interviewer, friendly or unfriendly?

I did some French courses, but, its weak now. Any advices please?
Any other good tips for interview are highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

1. 40 minutes to 1 hour
2. They will usually tell you right then and there. In my case it was immediately right after the interview, my CSQ was handed in person.
3. I scored very high on my Tefaq so my interview was conducted completely in French as a way to prove my ability. No English whatsoever. Others have had their interviews in English from what I hear, but that was not my experience. The officer will make that determination during the interview of your language ability.
4. My case was about 4 months, I was put on a waiting list for 2 months then called for the interview after another 2.
5. Interviewer was quite friendly, and patient. Most understand that people are nervous and go at it one step at a time. But they are human beings and some may be tougher. YMMV.
