Returned to Canada. I was contacting the interviewing officer and after sending the booking confirmations and after retuning I mailed him. He replied that our application has been queued for the invitation. Does anyone have any idea how much it takes to get an invitation from the queue?

Meanwhile, congratulations. All you have to do at this point is to wait.

I wonder why they waited for you to let them know you are back in Canada. I am still outside Canada, and I have my oath later this month.

I do not know why. That is the problem. I have to return to my home country for different purposes....... I can wait till the end of March. Otherwise, I have to go back again with the sadness of no date.

Had my oath on Feb 28th, and received my certificate 2 days ago. I will apply for passport outside Canada.

Hopefully everyone get their oath soon. My timeline was roughly 7 months from AOR to Certificate.

Hopefully everyone get their oath soon. My timeline was roughly 7 months from AOR to Certificate.

Do you need a guarantor to sign your passport application and photo when you apply outside Canada?

I have returned to canada in November, no updates what so ever so far. Submitted passport pages and DL in 1st week of December . I called yesterday she simply said processing time is 23 months.. im at the 13 month mark right now applied in Feb, test done in October.

Thanks for sharing. It's been around 15 months for me now. I am stuck at LPP since I completed the test in September 2022. They just asked me to submit my passport copies via email yesterday. I'm getting them translated now. Did you respond to them with the copies by email too? and What's the DL that you had to submit? Thank you.

Yes you do. I did that when I travelled for oath ceremony.
