Hi Jay,

Congratulations on crossing another milestone....was curious to ask if the Credit card option for paying RPRF fees is applicable in case of NDVO? As the weblink mentions that NDVO accepts only DD or certified cheques:

Payment of Fees

Fees are payable in Canadian dollars or Indian Rupees. Only bank drafts (demand drafts) or certified cheques are accepted; cash is not accepted for fee payment. The bank draft should be made for the exact amount and in favour of "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

some of our forum members like rashpalwarwal, qajitender paid fees by credit card and accepted.

Jay,

Rashpal and I prepared DD and submitted the package at the same time in October and the last post from qajitender mentions changing his DD again to reflect the current fees reflecting on NDVO's website...

I believe the option for paying by CC is available to those who pay their fees while submitting application.

I am only concerned as this step should not effect processing of your application...

So they will resend my application package to me?? I am in tension...

i pay my 1st fees by CC at Sydney nova scotia so i think this time they accept CC..

pls senior members suggest me..what should i do? May i make NEW dd and send it to NDVO ???

I doubt they will send your application package back to you...

There can be 2 possible workarounds here in my view:

1. Stop the courier package from delivery to NDVO today and write an email to NDVO explaining the situation. Get a DD made in the meantime and ask them for the process/procedure for refund of the fees paid online. I think files under processing should receive email responses earlier than adhoc requests. Post reply send them them the complete package with DD.

2. Let the courier package go to NDVO today and wait for their response on RPRF fees. I am sure you would have included the CC payment receipt in the package. Wait for them to come back. Not sure what NDVO's response would be on this.

Possibility 1 shall be a proactive action and 2 is a reactive one.
